Prime University defeated Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital Medical College and won the honor of becoming the champion in the ATN Bangla Public Parliament Debate Competition organized jointly by ATN Bangla and Debate for Democracy. The topic of the debate was "দ্রব্যমূল্য নিয়ন্ত্রন বর্তমান সরকারের প্রধান চ্যালেঞ্জ". Prime University was in favor of the motion. The debate competition was staged at ATN Bangla studio in the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (FDC). A. H. M. Shafiquzzaman, Director General (Additional Secretary), Directorate of National Consumers’ Right Protection, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and handed over the champion trophy. The event was presided over by the Chairman of Debate for Democracy and popular media personality Mr. Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron. Prime University authority, teachers, staff, and students congratulated the winning debate team.
