EEE Department of Prime University organized an ‘Extempore Speech Competition-2022’ on 5 January 2022 at the Conference Room of Prime University. Md Ashraf Ali, Chairman, BoT, Prime University and Prof Dr M Jahangir Alam, Vice Chancellor, Prime University graced the event as the chief guest and special guest respectively. Prof Dr Jahangir Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering chaired the session while Prof Dr M Mahbubur Rahman, Head, Dept. of EEE presented the vote of thanks. A total of ten students from different batches of EEE Department participated in the competition. Participants randomly picked topics from the electrical and electronic fields. Each contestant gave a three-minute speech on the chosen topic. Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar from 51st batch secured the first position. Md Shamsujjoha Sumon from 50th batch and Akash Barman from 49th batch secured the second and third position respectively. At the end of the event, respected chief guest and special guest congratulated and handed over prizes among the winners. Dr Mariya Ferdousi, Assistant Professor, Erona Khatun and Maruf Rahman Shuvo, Lecturer Department of EEE performed the responsibility as the judges. The whole session was moderated by Shuvodip Das, Assistant Professor, Dept. of EEE.
