Rag day of 49th Batch of the EEE Department of Prime University was celebrated on 7 January 2022 with sadness and enthusiasm at the same time. 124 students of the outgoing 49th batch participated in that Rag Day. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Prime University, Prof Dr M Jahangir Alam and respected Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prime University, Prof Dr Jahangir Alam graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Special Guest respectively. Respected Head of EEE Department, Prof Dr M Mahbubur Rahman chaired the session. At the beginning, four class representatives of four sections of 49th batch expressed their passionate remarks on university and EEE department. Respected Associate Professor, Md Abu Zaman and Md Mostak Ahmed called upon the students to work for the overall development of their alma mater. Respected Vice Chancellor, Dr M Jahangir urged the students to be competent and skilled in their respective field of work and uphold the name and fame of EEE Department of Prime University. In his speech, respected Dean of Engineering Faculty encouraged the outgoing students to exhibit the highest standards of honesty and integrity in their professions. Moreover, in the concluding remarks, the chair of the session, Prof Dr M Mahbubur Rahman, Head, Dept. of EEE urged the students to work together for the development of EEE Department. At the closing session, outgoing students received crests from the respected special guest and chairperson of the program. The outgoing students also handed over a crest adorned with their names as a memento to the Head of EEE Department.
