The Department of Education started its journey in 2007 under the faculty of Arts and Social Science for the teachers of primary, secondary and teacher educators. Department of Education of Prime University is offering one year of BEd and one year of MEd programs from its beginning with name and fame.

From its very inception, the Department of Education has been imparting quality and scholastic education for which it anchored the scholar like former DG, NAEM; Project Director, Female Stipend Project;and Director, Monitoring and Evaluation Wing, DSHE. Besides, some foreign students of Philippine, Ghana, and Zimbabwe have been pursuing their BEd and MEd degree because of its best teaching forces and modern international standard course curriculum.
